Alex Eala is a tennis player from the Philippines. She was born on May 17, 2005, in Manila, Philippines. She started playing tennis at the age of six, and by the age of seven, she had joined her first tennis academy, the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center.
Eala has won several prestigious titles, including the 2020 Australian Open Junior Girls Doubles title and the 2021 ITF Junior Grand Slam Singles title. In addition, she was a part of the Philippine Fed Cup Team that competed in the 2021 Fed Cup Asia/Oceania Zone Group I.
She is currently trained by her father, Michael Eala, who is a former national tennis player and coach. Additionally, she is coached by the renowned Australian coach Brent Larkham.
Outside of tennis, Eala is also a student at the Roman Catholic school, De La Salle Zobel, where she balances her academic studies with her intense training schedule.
She is considered one of the top young players in tennis and is expected to have a successful career in the sport.
